This Update Makes ChatGPT Incredible for Work Use Cases!

Hey Reader,

Welcome back!

This week, OpenAI released GPT-5.2, and while it isn't quite AGI, it's a pretty significant upgrade for anyone using ChatGPT for work.

In this edition, we'll break down what you need to know about the GPT-5.2 release, plus we'll show you how to use the video analysis abilities of Gemini 3, teach you how to use Nano Banana in less than 3 minutes, and more.

Let's get right into it...

πŸͺ„ App of the Week: Google Mixboard

Use Case: Explore, Expand, and Refine Ideas Visually

Why you should care:

Google Mixboard is an AI-powered concepting board that helps you explore, expand, and refine your ideas visually. Mixboard was released earlier this year, but this week it got some massive upgrades that make it a must-try AI app.

First up: Google integrated Nano Banana Pro into Mixboard, so you can now create and edit images on your board with the world's best image model.

Mixboard also added a Transform Into Presentation feature that uses the power of Nano Banana Pro to turn your images and documents into a beautifully curated presentation.

Here's how you can try that out today:

  1. Use the link above to get to the Google Labs Mixboard platform.
  2. Sign in with a Google account.
  3. Create a new project.
  4. Upload a few images and/or documents.
  5. Use the "Transform" button in the top right to turn your board into presentation slides.

There's a lot more you can do with Mixboard apart from the one-tap presentation feature, so go check it out today!

πŸ“° News That Matters: OpenAI Launches GPT-5.2

Link: Introducing GPT-5.2 | OpenAI

Why it matters:

OpenAI just launched GPT-5.2, and while the official announcement frames it as a major step forward, the truth is GPT-5.2 did not take a massive leap in pure intelligence.

But it is a huge improvement on previous GPT-5 models when it comes to real usability.

GPT-5.2 is faster, more consistent, and better at deciding when to use its heavy reasoning mode.

It handles long-context tasks more reliably, improves tool use for agent-style workflows, and cuts down on the β€œthinking too hard” behavior many users have complained about with previous GPT-5 models.

GPT-5.2 is significantly better at creating spreadsheets and presentations, perceiving images, handling multi-step projects, and more.

Long story short: OpenAI just made ChatGPT feel dramatically better to use, especially for work use cases. GPT-5.2 won’t blow your mind with brand new abilities, but it will make ChatGPT smoother, faster, and more reliable.

And GPT-5.2 just became the default for all ChatGPT users, even for free accounts!

So go give it a try today and see if the new ChatGPT is an improvement for your use cases.

πŸ“ Prompt of the Week: Instant Video Analysis

Prompt Formula:

Analyze my performance as a presenter, and give me a score on a scale of 1-100. In your analysis, focus on my body language, eye contact, and pacing.

Quick Description:

This prompt is designed to work with Gemini 3 and takes advantage of two of Gemini's best features: advanced reasoning and video analysis. Gemini is still the only top AI model that allows you to upload videos for Gemini to "look at" as part of your prompt.

Using the prompt formula above, you can upload a clip of you giving a speech or presentation to get instant feedback and analysis.

How to Use:

  1. Go to the Gemini web app. (gemini.google.com)
  2. Sign in with a Google account.
  3. Use the "+" button on the left side of the chat box to open the tools dropdown box.
  4. Select "Upload Files".
  5. Upload a short video clip of yourself speaking.
  6. Copy the above prompt formula.
  7. Paste it into the Gemini chat box.
  8. Send the prompt!

Video analysis can take a while, but after a few minutes, you'll have a detailed list of suggestions on how you can improve as a presenter.

This is just one of many ways to take advantage of video analysis in Gemini, so test this one out and then figure out how else you can apply this prompting technique!
